Seven New Items

There are some mysterious new items appearing on the Mafia Wars servers. Anyone know where they are from?

The Fates - Armor?

Duality - Weapon

Snowy Owl - Animal

Splint Greaves - Armor

Breath of Fresh Air - Vehicle

Thresher Shark - Animal

Chrome Essence - Vehicle

Currently, they are not appearing in the inventory, so I don't know what kind of stats they might have.

Update on Rare Operation Loot

Yesterday I posted that I wasn't seeing any rare operation loot. I'm currently of the opinion that there is a daily limit on rare loot. This morning, it was dropping fine, until I got 7 rare loots (I may have also got some from feed rewards, so I'm going to guess there may be a daily limit of 10 rare loots).

Operation Loot Nerfed?

Okay, this has been bugging me for the last few days. I've done quite a few operations since they've been released, so I have a rough idea just how rare items such as the Grim Reaper and Z17 Micro are.

Take a look at the loot I got just now (not sure exactly how many operations I did, but most were Transport Stolen Uranium - the most common operation, and also the one that should drop Grim Reapers and Z17 Micros).

Usually, I would have expected at least a couple of rare loots from that. But for the last few days, I've hardly see anything good! Has anyone else noticed this?

Southlander (expired)

Another mysterious new item! The Southlander has average stats of 43 attack and 30 defense.

What's interesting about this item?

Firstly, you can only accept 5 per day. I don't know why, the stats are nothing special. Maybe all gifts are going to be limited in the future?

Secondly, there is a TNT symbol in the top corner, so maybe it's somehow linked to a special event.

Return of the Pignatas! (expired)

I never got the grand prize from the original Pignatas, so I was happy to discover that they are finally giftable again. Super Pignatas are also still giftable. Every day, you should aim to get five of each gift.
